The official rule is strict: mix 1:1 only with 20 volume Pro-oxide Cream Developer, 35 minutes with no heat (up to 45 on resistant hair). Cover Fusion intermixes within its own shades, but not with classic Color Fusion.

Cover Fusion uses level + double letters: the first is always N (natural coverage base) and the second is the reflect: 6NA = dark blonde natural ash.
